VN808TR-32-E is a octal channel high-side driver. This driver is intended to drive any kind of load with one side connected to ground. Active current limitation combined with thermal shutdown and automatic restart, protects the driver from overload. In overload conditions, the channel turns OFF and ON again automatically in order to maintain the junction temperature between TJSD and TR. If this condition causes case temperature to reach TCSD. An overloaded channels are turned OFF and restarted only when case temperature decreases down to TCR. Non-overloaded channels continue to operate normally. This driver automatically turns OFF in case of ground pin disconnection. This device is especially suitable for industrial applications.
