LM317BT

LM317BT is a 1.2V to 37V adjustable voltage regulator. It is intended for use as positive adjustable voltage regulator. This is designed to supply more than 1.5A of load current with an output voltage adjustable over a 1.2 to 37V range. The nominal output voltage is selected by means of a resistive divider, making the device exceptionally easy to use and eliminating the stocking of many fixed regulator.

• Output current in excess of 1.5A, 0.1% line and load regulation
• Floating operation for high voltages
• Complete series of protections: current limiting, thermal shutdown and SOA control
• Line regulation is 0.01%/V typ (VI- VO=3 to 40V, TJ=25°C)
• Reference voltage is 1.25V typ (VI- VO=2.5 to 40V IO=10mA to IMAX, TJ=25°C)
• Output voltage temperature stability is 1% typ (VI - VO=5V, IO=500mA, IMAX=1.5A, TJ=-25 to 150°C)
• Minimum load current is 3.5mA typ (VI- VO=40V, TJ=-25 to 150°C)
• Maximum load current is 2.2A typ (VI- VO ≤ 15V, PD greater than PMAX)
• Supply voltage rejection is 65dB typ (TJ=25°C, f=120Hz, CADJ=0)
• TO-220 (single gauge) package, operating junction temperature range from -40 to 125°C
