D01ML55P-FIBER-MEDIA is a compact Gigabit fibre to Ethernet media converter that enables Cat6 or similar cabling to be upgraded to an EMI-free fibre connection. The converter is PoE powered and designed to work seamlessly with any networking equipment that is PoE-capable and supports the 802.3af standard or higher. The LC slot is compatible with Single-Mode (10km) and Multimode (800m) fibre cables up to 1Gbps. The converter supports LFPT (Link Fault Pass-Through), allowing IT administrators to monitor and assess network connectivity at a glance based on the LED behaviour. The unmanaged fibre media converter features a plug & play design that does not require additional software or settings to be changed making it ideal for upgrading computers, switches, routers or other equipment from copper to fibre.
