S12ZVMC12EVBCAN

The S12ZVMEVB is a development board for the S12 MagniV® S12ZVM 16bit MCUs targeted for 2-phase DC and 3-phase BLDC or PMSM motor control applications. The S12ZVM integrates an MCU with an S12Z core, a 5V voltage regulator, a LIN physical layer and a gate driver unit capable of controlling up to 6 power MOSFETs and is targeted for automotive applications such as HVAC blowers, engine cooling fans, wiper systems, fuel or water pumps.

• Board uses S12ZVMC128 integrating a voltage regulator controller for an external CAN transceiver
• Built-in OSBDM debugger
• Connector interface for 2-phase (DC) or 3-phase (BLDC or PMSM) motor
• USB-to-SCI interface
• Hall-sensor interface and connector
• Resolver interface and connector
• Shunt resistors for current sensing on up to three phases and common DC link
• One general purpose potentiometer, two LEDs, two push buttons and one switch
