RMC-8356 is a external controller. It is a 1U rack-mount controller for PXI- or PXI Express-based systems intended for test and measurement applications requiring rack-mount controllers. It features a 3.6GHz quad-core Intel Xeon processor, capable of turbo speeds up to 4.0GHz, and includes 16GB of RAM, upgradeable to 64GB. The RMC-8356 supports RAID arrays, which allow multiple hard drives to be configured for high performance for mission-critical, physically demanding applications. The 1TB hard drive has three additional bays for expanding storage.
