ASLS5

The ASLS5 is a 5 to 9.9G activation level Shock/Linear Acceleration Switch with gold-plated steel case, robust construction and NO (normally open) gold-plated contacts. This through hole mounting switch features easy fitting and proven reliability. The switches are fitted with a spring loaded contact which closes when the switch detects shock or acceleration above its activation level. The contact will open again when acceleration decreases. It is particularly suited for use in monitoring of centrifugal forces and controlling spin speeds. Suitable for electrical generating windmill and power switching.

The cutting or bending point should be no closer than 3mm to the glass to metal seal and the lead should be supported between the cutting or bending point and the glass to metal seal.
