E845

The E845 is an Alnico Rectangular Bar Magnet made from Alnico 5-grade material. The Alnico rectangular bar magnets are also known as alnico rectangular rod magnets and alnico bar magnets. The Alnico rectangular bar magnets can be used at temperatures of up to 550°C. It is termed bar magnets because the distance between the poles is greater than the pole face dimensions (i.e. they are magnetised in the same direction as their longest dimension). The Alnico rectangular bar magnets are supplied in painted (red colour) or natural finish (uncoated, unpainted). These alnico rectangular bar magnets are very popular of sensing applications and for experimental use in schools.
