USB-QUAD08 is a quadrature encoder USB device provides configurable counter input channels along with timer outputs and digital I/O. Features include programmable debounce times, multiple counting modes, and triggering and pacing options. I/O connections are made to ten banks of detachable screw terminals or 37-pin D-type connectors. The 37-pin connectors are pin-compatible with the PCI-QUAD04 for upgrade/migration from a PCI bus, although software migration is required. The USB-QUAD08 is powered by the +5 volt USB supply from your computer.

• 10MHz, 16-, 32-, 48-bit resolution, ±12 volt input range
• Indicator LEDs show the status of each counter/encoder input
• 16 debounce settings
• Configurable as input or output
• Digital input bits accept voltage inputs up to 50VDC (42.4Vpk)
• Digital output bits are open collector, with clamping diodes for CEMF suppression
• Internal/external pacing, internal software trigger and external digital trigger
