HMC-C058

HMC-C058 is a general purpose broadband high isolation non-reflective GaAs MESFET SPDT switch housed in a miniature hermetic module with field replaceable SMA connectors. Covering DC to 18GHz, the switch offers high isolation and low insertion loss. Typical application includes fibre optics and broadband telecom, microwave radio and VSAT, military radios, radar and ECM, test instrumentation.

• Insertion loss is 1.6dB (typ, DC - 6GHz, TA = +25°C, with Vdc = +5V and 0/+5V control)
• Isolation is 55dB (typ, DC - 6GHz, TA = +25°C, with Vdc = +5V and 0/+5V control)
• Return loss is 17dB (typ, DC - 6GHz, “on state”, TA = +25°C, with Vdc = +5V and 0/+5V control)
• Return loss RF1, RF2 is 14dB (typ, DC - 6GHz, off state, TA = +25°C)
• Input power for 1dB compression is 27dBm (typ, 0.5 to 18GHz, TA = +25°C)
• Input third order intercept is 46dBm (typ, 0.5 to 18GHz, TA = +25°C)
• Switching characteristics is 3ns (typ, DC - 18GHz, tRISE, tFALL (10/90% RF))
• Switching transients is 12mVpp (typ, DC - 18GHz, TA = +25°C)
• 16 lead LFCSP-EP package, operating temperature range from -55 to +85°C
