MAX22514AWA+

MAX22514AWA+ is a surge-protected IO-link transceiver with DC-DC. It features a SPI interface for configuration and diagnostics. A high level of integration (including two linear regulators, a DC-DC buck regulator, and integrated surge protection, combined with low power dissipation and small packages) optimizes the device for use in many different industrial and IO-Link small sensor applications. It is capable of being used in both IO-Link devices and IO-Link host applications. An SPI interface is used for extended configurability and diagnostics, and the transceiver is capable of operating at the COM1, COM2, and COM3 IO-Link data rates. It can be configured to enable the required 5mA pull-down/pull-up current on the C/Q line and generate a wake-up pulse.

• DC-DC turn-on delay is 10.2ms typical at (V24 = 8V to 36V, V5 = 4.5V to 5.5V, VL = 2.5V to 5.5V)
• Switching frequency is 1.229MHz typical at (BUCKSS = 0, V24 = 8V to 36V, V5 = 4.5V to 5.5V)
• V5 load regulation is 0.85% typical at (VLIN = 24V, 1mA <lt/> ILOAD <lt/> 50mA)
• Operating temperature range from -40°C to +125°C, 25-WLP package
