The 1029 is a Nut Driver with ergonomic Wiha SoftFinish® handle. Blade made of through hardened chrome-vanadium steel with chrome-plated finish. The Wiha SoftFinish® zone features a solid moulded core with soft outer grip. This requires less force, yet achieves 40% more torque than conventional handles. The handle is shaped to fit comfortably in the hand, providing maximum torque forces in dry and general working conditions. If a stuck screw has to be loosened, a precise hammer blow can be applied to the solid steel cap. Due to the hex blade extending trough the handle to the steel cap, there is no loss of impact energy.
