PCF7939MA/CABC0800 is a high-performance security transponder (HT-AES) for vehicle immobilization applications. The protocol design of the HT-AES is based on the established HT2 protocol and extended by the HT2 Extended protocol improvements to support a fast and seamless base station software upgrade. It derives its power supply from the magnetic field (LF field) established by the base station. Features secure contactless authentication employing a secret key and a random number (challenge) in order to cipher any communication between the device and the base station in ciphered access mode.
