The 2255-5 is a 5m DVI-D Single Link Monitor Cable Assembly with DVI-D male plug to male plug connection. Featuring the unique digital visual interface (DVI) connector, the cable is referred to as DVI/D, for use between mother board, graphics cards and monitors fitted with the same interface termination. As most XGA monitors tend to run at 50MHz, then single link cable will, at the moment, tend to be the most likely required. It is commonly fitted to digital monitors - either instead of or alongside the analogue VGA interface.
