This is an infrared detector with an integral modulation drive. An external infrared emitter is sync-modulated using a two-wire system. External interference is eliminated by use of a comparator and sync-detector circuit, the resulting signal then being demodulated and output as TTL. The elimination of unwanted signals being detected make this device ideal for use in high ambient light conditions. Suitable for use with all infrared LED emitters.
