HCNR200-300E

The HCNR200-300E from Avago is a high linearity analogue optocouplers in 8 pin surface mount DIP package. This optocoupler consists of a high performance AlGaAs LED that illuminates two closely matched photodiodes. The input photodiode can be used to monitor and therefore stabilize the light output of the LED. As a result the non linearity and drift characteristics of the LED can be virtually eliminated. This optocoupler is used to isolate analogue signals in a wide variety of applications that require good stability, linearity, bandwidth and low cost. Appropriate design of the application circuit handle operating in many different modes such as unipolar/bipolar, ac/dc and inverting/non-inverting. HCNR200-300E is widely used at low cost analogue isolation, modem, PBX, industrial process control such as transducer isolator and isolator for thermocouples 4mA to 2mA loop isolation, SMPS feedback loop, SMPS feed forward and monitor motor supply voltage.
