3M™ splash-proof one piece branch link connector, 387 series enables branching into the main network wire (20 to 16 AWG) in an environment that needs splash-proof (IPX4) protection. The one-piece connector design is field-terminable and requires no special equipment. The field-terminability provides the ability to optimize the system routing. The one-piece connector design reduces installed system space and requires less parts to manage during the installation. IPX4 rating makes this connector idea for applications where there may be water condensation or near wet-operations, such as washing operations for foods, cosmetics and pharmaceuticals.
