XKRR-Z8S-WZM is a Digi XBee RR development kit that provides OEMs with a simple, quick way to integrate wireless connectivity and functionality into their devices. Digi XBee® RR wireless module accelerate time-to-market for designers, OEMs and solution providers by quickly enabling wireless connectivity and easy-to-add functionality. Building on industry-leading technology, pre-certified Digi XBee RR wireless module offers flexibility to switch between multiple frequencies and wireless protocols as needed, including Zigbee, 802.15.4, DigiMesh® and BLE (server only). This kit helps developers integrate wireless connectivity into applications using Digi XBee RR embedded modules. Digi XBee RR offers a fully interoperable ecosystem covering all vertical markets including building automation, smart energy, digital health, intelligent lighting. From edge computing to future migration, Digi XBee RR wireless modules offer size, weight, power and performance advantages in a micro form factor.
- Silicon Labs EFR32MG SoC transceiver chip and data rate of RF 250Kbps, serial up to 1Mbps
- Indoor/Urban range up to 60m (200ft) (ZIGBEE) and up to 15m (49ft) BLUETOOTH®
- Outdoor/RF line-of-sight range up to 1200m (4000ft) (ZIGBEE), up to 300m (984ft)BLUETOOTH®
- UART, SPI serial data interface and 1MB / 96kB RAM memory
- API or AT commands, local or over-the-air (OTA) configuration method
- ISM 2.4GHz frequency band- and DSSS (Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum) interference immunity
- Zigbee 3.0 protocol, 128/256 bit AES encryption and 16 channels
- 1.71 to 3.8V supply voltage, 32 mA at 3.3V, +8dBm transmit current, 14mA receive current
- Operating temperature range from -40 to 85°C
- Form factor: micro, through-hole, SMT
