製品概要
The MAX6952EAX+ is a 4-wire interfaced, 4-digit, 5 x 7 matrix LED display driver in 36 pin SSOP package. This compact cathode row display driver interfaces microprocessors to 5 x 7 dot matrix LED displays through an SPI compatible serial interface. The MAX6952 drives up to four digits (140 LEDs). It includes on-chip ASCII 104 character font, multiplex scan circuitry, column/row drivers, static RAM that stores each digit as well as font data for 24 user definable characters. The segment current for LEDs is set by an internal digit by digit digital brightness control. The device includes 36µA low power shutdown mode (data retained), segment blinking (synchronized across multiple drivers, if desired) and test mode that forces all LEDs on. The LED driver is slew rate limited to reduce EMI. The MAX6952 is used in message boards, audio/video equipment and gaming machines.
- Operating supply voltage range from 2.7V to 5.5V
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to 85°C
- High speed 26MHz with SPI/QSPI/MICROWIRE compatible serial interface
- Master clock frequency of 4MHz (internal oscillator) and 8MHz (external oscillator)
- Drives four monocolour or two bicolour cathode row 5 x 7 matrix displays
- Automatic blinking control for each segment
- Dead clock protection frequency of 90KHz and fast or slow segment duty cycle of 50.5%
- 16 step digital brightness control and display blanked on power-up
- Column drive source current range from -32mA to -48mA and segment current slew rate of 12.5mA/µs
- Operating supply current of 12mA
