AD976A is a high speed, low power 16bit A/D converter that operates from a single 5V supply. The part contains a successive approximation, switched capacitor ADC, an internal 2.5V reference and a high speed parallel interface. The ADC is factory calibrated to minimize all linearity errors. The analogue full-scale input is the standard industrial range of ±10V. The AD976A is comprehensively tested for ac parameters such as SNR and THD as well as the more traditional parameters of offset, gain and linearity.
- 2.7MHz input bandwidth and 1MHz full-power bandwidth
- High speed parallel interface
- On-chip clock
- 100mW power dissipation
- Choice of external or internal 2.5V reference
- 83dB min S/(N+D), total harmonic distortion -90dB max
- 200KSPS throughput rate and 5µs complete cycle
- ±3.0LSB max integral linearity error and +3LSB max differential linearity error
- 28 lead SOIC package
- Operating temperature range from -40 to 85°C
