74HC245D,653 is a octal bus transceiver with 3 state outputs. This device features an (active low) output enable (OE) and send/receive (DIR) for direction control. A HIGH on (active low) OE causes the outputs to assume a high-impedance OFF-state. Inputs include clamp diodes. This enables the use of current limiting resistors to interface inputs to voltages in excess of VCC.
