Product Overview
FOD817CSD is a 4-pin DIP phototransistor optocoupler. It consists of two gallium arsenide infrared emitting diodes, connected in inverse parallel, driving a silicon phototransistor output in a 4-pin dual in-line package. Typical applications include power supply regulators, digital logic inputs, and microprocessor inputs.

- Minimum BVCEO of 70V guaranteed
- Safety and Regulatory Approvals, UL1577, 5,000 VACRMS for 1 Minute, DIN EN/IEC60747-5-5
- Junction-to-Case Thermal Resistance is 210°C/W (TA = 25°C)
- Total Device Power Dissipation is 200mW (TA = 25°C)
- Continuous Forward Current is 50mA (TA = 25°C)
- Forward voltage is 1.2V (IF = 20mA, TA = 25°C)
- Collector-emitter saturation voltage is 0.1V (TA = 25°C, IF = 20mA, IC = 1mA)
- SMT 4-Pin package, operating temperature range from -55 to +110°C
