ARMOR D-Sub hoods Featuring an all metal hood die cast housing & offered in variety of options that improve the connection stability while maximizing cable strain relief in order to prevent damage to wires & contacts. These hoods offer high reliability performance for the most challenging design applications.

Available in 5 industry standard sizes (Standard: 9,15,25,37,50 & High Density: 15,26,44,62,78)
Perimeter sealing lips for secure assembly
Die Cast metal shells provide excellent EMI/RFI shielding
Plated with high quality nickel finish
Available in a variety of cable entries: 35°, 40°, 45°, 60°, 90°, 180° (Straight)
Compression or Mechanical strain reliefs
Various mating hardware available
D-sub hood systems available in Die-Cast, Metalized Plastic & Plastic versions.
Plastic - Assorted Colors: Available only on 972 Series
