Product Overview
The TMDC 20-2418 from Tracopower is a 20W high performance single output DC to DC converter module in fully encapsulated low profile plastic case. This converter comes in chassis mount version with screw terminal block. It has 4:1 input voltage range and a tight output voltage regulation with hiccup mode, automatic recovery short circuit protection. This converter does not need a minimum load and offer a high efficiency at low load conditions. It has a remote on/off control input while a green LED indicates the presence of output voltage. The EMC characteristics and safety certifications are aligned for the operation in industrial and residential environment. The TMDC 20-2418 has EN 61000-4-2, air ±8KV, contact ±4KV (criteria A) ESD protection.
- Input voltage range from 9VDC to 36VDC and input current of 70mA at no load
- Output voltage of 48VDC and maximum output current of 420mA
- Efficiency of 89% and switching frequency of 285KHz
- Maximum surge voltage is 50V
- I/O isolation voltage of 2500VDC (60sec)
- Greater than 1Gohm I/O isolation resistance at 500VDC, maximum I/O isolation capacitance of 2200pF
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to 90°C (with derating)
- Optional DIN rail mount adapter
- UL/cUL 60950-1, IEC 60950-1:2005 and CSA C22.2 number 60950-1-07 approved
