Product Overview
The THM 6 series from Tracopower are 6W, single/dual output medical DC/DC converters in compact DIP-24 package. These converters have wide 2: 1 input voltage range. The units are approved to IEC/EN/ES 60601-1 3rd edition for 2 x MOPP (Means Of Patient Protection) and come along with an ISO 14971 risk management file. Design and production conform to the quality management system ISO 13485. The THM 6 series features overload, overvoltage and short circuit protection. They constitute a reliable solution not only for medical equipment but also for demanding ranges of application such as transportation, control and measurement or IGBT drivers.
- Nominal input voltage : 5VDC/12VDC/24VDC/48VDC
- Output voltage : 3.3VDC/5VDC/12VDC/15VDC/24VDC/±5VDC/±12VDC/±15VDC
- Maximum output current : 1800mA/1200mA/500mA/400mA/250mA/±600mA/±250mA/±200mA
- High efficiency of up to 89%, PWM switching frequency is 250KHz ±25KHz
- I/O isolation ((50Hz, 60sec) is 5000VACrms rated for 250VACrms working voltage, 2 x MOPP
- I/O isolation capacitance is 17pF maximum
- Low leakage current is less than 2µA at 240VAC, 60Hz
- Ripple and noise (20MHz bandwidth) is 30mVp-p (3.3, 5VDC), 40mVp-p (12, 15VDC), 50mVp-p (24VDC)
- Approved by ANSI/AAMI ES60601-1:2005/(R)2012, IEC/EN60601-1 3rd edition safety standards
- Extended operating temperature range from -40°C to 90°C, 5-year product warranty
