Product Overview
TRI 6-1215 is a TRI 6 series, 6W, DC/DC converter. The core characteristic of the TRI 6 series is a sophisticated reinforced isolation system which is able to withstand high test voltages (9000VDC for 1s and 5000VAC for 60s) and working voltages (1000VACrms). Complementing this isolation characteristic is a high common mode transient immunity of 15kV/µs. The new design allows to fully integrate an EN 55032 class A filter and greatly reduces the no-load power consumption. It has a wide 2:1 input voltage range and precisely regulated, isolated output voltages. With the latest IT safety certifications (IEC/EN/UL 62368-1) the TRI 6 series is the perfect choice for many demanding applications in the industrial, transportation and instrumentation sectors. It also has EN 62368-1, IEC 62368-1, UL 62368-1 safety standards.
- Input voltage range from 9 - 18VDC (12VDC nominal)
- 24VDC output voltage 1 (Vnom), 250mA output current 1 (Imax)
- 86% typical efficiency, voltage set accuracy is ±1% maximum
- Ripple and noise is 70mVp-p maximum, temperature coefficient is ±0.02%/K maximum
- Start-up time is 30ms maximum, switching frequency range from 330KHz typical
- Reinforced insulation, isolation resistance is 10000Mohm minimum
- Isolation capacitance is 40pF maximum, plastic resin (UL 94 V-0 rated) housing material
- Internal EN 55032 class A filter, 3-year product warranty
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to +95°C
