Product Overview
The TDN 5-0921WI from Tracopower is a 5W dual output DC to DC converter in DIP package. It redefines power density of high performance DC to DC converter in cubical package of only 1.23cm³ encloses a sophisticated circuit which provides 5W output power without any compromise regarding reliability and functionality. This DC to DC converter has fully regulated outputs and remote ON/OFF function. It has continuous, automatic recovery short circuit protection. The device is used in wide range of application where space is limited. The input of the converters is designed for a wide voltage range (4:1) and minimum load is not required. The TDN 5-0921WI has EN 61000-4-2, air ±8KV, contact ±6KV (criteria A) ESD protection and UL 94V-0 rated non conducting FR4 case with UL 94V-0 rated silicone potting and tinned copper pins.
- Input voltage range from 4.5VDC to 12VDC and input current of 80mA at no load
- Output voltage of ±5VDC and maximum output current of ±500mA
- Efficiency of 80%
- Minimum switching frequency of 100KHz (pulse frequency modulation)
- I/O isolation voltage of 1600VDC (60sec)
- Greater than 1Gohm I/O isolation resistance at 500VDC and maximum 50pF I/O isolation capacitance
- Maximum surge voltage of 15V (1sec maximum)
- Maximum voltage set accuracy of ±1%
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to 75°C without derating
- Ultra compact DIP package with 9.1mm x 10.2mm x 13.2mm (W x H x D) dimension
