TLP176AM(TPL,E(T is a photorelay. It consists of an infrared LED coupled to a photo-MOSFET. This photorelay has higher output current rating than phototransistor-type photocoupler hence, it is suitable for use as On/Off control for high current. Application includes security systems, factory automation (FA), measuring instruments, battery management system (BMS) (non-automotive), programmable logic controllers (PLCs), mechanical relay replacements. Safety standards are UL-recognized: UL 1577, File No.E67349, cUL-recognized: CSA Component Acceptance Service No.5A File No.E67349, UL-recognized: UL 508, File No.E499232, VDE-approved: EN 60747-5-5.
- Input forward voltage range from 1.1 to 1.4V (IF = 10mA, Ta = 25°C)
- 100pF typical output capacitance (V = 0V, f = 1MHz, Ta = 25°C)
- Typical trigger LED current is 1mA (ION = 700mA, Ta = 25°C)
- Typical return LED current is 0.6mA (ION = 100mA, Ta = 25°C)
- 0.8pF typical total capacitance (input to output, VS = 0V, f = 1MHz, Ta = 25°C)
- 3750Vrms minimum isolation voltage (AC, 60s, Ta = 25°C)
- ON-state resistance is 0.15ohm typical (ON = 700mA, IF = 5mA, Ta = 25°C)
- Minimum OFF-state output terminal voltage is 60V
- 700mA ON-state current, normally opened (1-Form-A)
- Operating temperature range from -40 to 110°C, package is SOP-4
