Product Overview
VD6283TX45/1 is a hybrid filter multispectral sensor with a light flicker engine. Light measurement is fast and accurate thanks to an individual ADC and a readout for each colour channel. It uses hybrid colour filters with precise responses allowing accurate computation of the correlated colour temperature and lux information. It can be used for display brightness management or scene light correction. With a patented architecture and a high-performance photodiode design, this device can extract light flickering frequencies to avoid “banding effects” on videos or check that they are safe for the human eye. It is used in applications such as true tone colour-sensing IC for screen brightness adjustment, and white balance colour assistance, lux and CCT measurement, light frequency extraction for flicker correction assistance.

- Operating conditions: 7mLux to 30kLux (green channel)
- Innovative readout architecture to extract AC light flicker signal
- Software driver provided by ST, I²C interface upto 1Mbit/s (fast mode plus)
- 1.8V typical power supply, low-power consumption
- Operating frequency is 1000MHz maximum
- Load capacitance is 150pF typical
- Data valid time is 0.4µs maximum
- Operating temperature range from -30°C to 85°C, 6-ball BGA package
