Product Overview

The NUCLEO-F722ZE from STMicroelectronics is a STM32 Nucleo board with flexible prototyping. It provides an affordable and flexible way for users to try out new concepts and build prototypes with the STM32 microcontroller, choosing from the various combinations of performance, power consumption and features. The STM32 Nucleo-144 board does not require any separate probe as it integrates the ST-LINK/V2-1 debugger/programmer. The STM32 Nucleo-144 board comes with the STM32 comprehensive software HAL library together with various packaged software examples, as well as the direct access to the ARM mbed. The ST Zio connector which extends the Arduino Uno V3 connectivity and the ST morpho headers provide an easy mean of expanding the functionality of the Nucleo open development platform with a wide choice of specialized shields. It is supported by wide choice of Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) including IAR, Keil, GCC-based IDEs, ARM mbed.

  • Flexible board power supply 5V from ST-LINK/V2-1 USB VBUS (U5V)
  • External power sources, 3.3V, 7V to 12V on ST Zio or ST morpho connectors, 5V on ST morpho connector
  • USB OTG or device full speed with Micro-AB connector
  • Three user LEDs, two push-buttons (USER and RESET)
  • USB re-enumeration capability
  • Virtual COM port, mass storage, debug port different interfaces supported on USB
  • 32.768KHz LSE crystal oscillator
  • HAL library of comprehensive free software including a variety of software examples
