The Startech I13-SERIAL-ETHERNET is a simple and effective solution for remotely connecting and controlling RS232 serial devices over an IP-based network. The converter comes complete with wall and DIN rail mounting hardware, and the full metal enclosure provides the durability required for use in harsh environments.
- Single port Serial to IP device server that supports up to 921.6kb/s
- Easily connect an RS232 serial device remotely over an IP-based network
- Integrated 10/100Mbps RJ45 port with auto negotiation for LAN connection
- Serial device server operates over Telnet (RFC2217)/UDP/TC
- Support TCP client/server mode to enable serial tunneling between two device servers over a LAN
- Supports IP, Telnet RFC2217, TCP Server, TCP Client, and UDP protocols
- Common UI for easy use on any OS and Windows software to set up virtual COM ports
- Virtual COM software supports Windows only (Windows 8/10/11)
- Durable, all-metal housing with Level 4 ESD protection (15kV Air and 8kV contact )
