Product Overview
The 2S232422485-PC-CARD is a simple and effective PC interface card that adds two external DB9 serial ports to your PC system, ideal for connecting legacy hardware such as card readers and printers. The card features onboard DIP switches for selecting RS232, RS422 or RS485 connections along with configurable power options. The Asix chipset ensures wide compatibility, bi-directional speeds up to 921.6Kb/s per port and 256-byte FIFO. The card also includes two low profile brackets for installation in compact and SFF chassis.
- Easily add two external DB9 serial ports to your PC, ideal for legacy devices
- Each port operates independently, with DIP switches for selecting RS232, RS422 or RS485 connection
- Configurable per-port power over pin 9 via aux SATA power: 12V (1.5A per port), 5V (1.5A) or no power (RI)
- Per-port power modes are configured via jumpers
- Asix AX99100 Chipset and 16C1050 UART with wide compatibility for 16C450, 16C550, 16C650, 16C750, and 16C950
- Max baud rate of 921.6Kb/s per port
- COM Retention and 256 Byte FIFO
- Even, Odd, None, Space, and Mark parity modes
- Supports Windows 7/8/10/11, Server 2016/2019/2022 & Linux 2.6.13+ (LTS versions only)
- ESD Protection: ±8kV (Contact), ±15kV (Air), ±15kV (HBM)
- Supplied with two optional low profile brackets
