The MGM111A256V2 from Silicon Labs is a MGM111 Mighty Gecko module with integrated chip antenna. It is a fully-integrated, pre-certified module, enabling rapid development of wireless mesh networking solutions. Based on the Silicon Labs EFR32 Mighty Gecko SoC, the MGM111 combines an energy- efficient, multi-protocol wireless SoC with a proven antenna design and industry leading wireless software stacks. This integration accelerates time to market and saves months of engineering effort and development costs. The fully certified module integrates all components (crystals, RF passives and antenna) required for a system-level implementation of ZigBee and Thread mesh networks. At +10dBm this module meets the WW regulatory requirements for IEEE 802.15.4 2.4GHz used in both ZigBee and Thread networks.
- TX power up to +10dBm, RX sensitivity down to -99dBm, up to 109dBm link budget
- Wide supply voltage range of 1.85V to 3.8V
- 32bit ARM Cortex M4 at 40MHz, 256KB flash, 32KB SRAM MCU
- Autonomous hardware crypto accelerator and random number generator
- Provides rapid time to market with onboard stack, antenna and regulatory certifications
- Supported by Silicon Labs reliable, secure and flexible mesh protocol stacks
- Uses same development tools as the Mighty Gecko ICs, simplicity studio, energy monitor, packet trace
- Can support SoC or network co-processor architectures
- Dimension is 12.9mm x 15mm x 2.2mm
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C
