Product Overview
TPRST009 is a 3 poles, 9A/690V, TeSys island direct starter. Connected to a TPRBC bus coupler it controls, protects, and monitors loads up to 9A and motors up to 4kW at 400V/5hp at 480V. It provides motor protection functions including thermal overload (setting 0.18-9A, tripping class 5-30), phase loss, phase unbalance and reversal, long start (stall), locked rotor (jam), rapid cycle lockout, and ground current detection. Monitoring of the load includes max/average voltages and currents, number of switching cycles, number of faults, and active and reactive power/energy when associated with a TPRVM001 voltage module. Mounting on the DIN rail together with the other modules of the TeSys island configuration. It has EN/IEC 60947-1, EN/IEC 60947-4-1, UL 60947-4-1, CSA C22.2 No 60947-4-1 standards. It is certified by EAC, CSA, CCC, UL.
- 3P (3NO) poles, <= 690VAC 47 to 63Hz rated operational voltage
- 9A (at <50°C) at <= 440VAC-3, 15A (at <50°C) at <= 440VAC-1 rated operational current
- 15A (at 50°C) conventional free air thermal current
- 6kV conforming to IEC 60947-1 rated impulse withstand voltage
- 0.2W AC-3 - Ith 9A, 0.56W AC-1 - Ith 15A power dissipation per pole
- 160mA contactor sealed, 160mA contactor closing current consumption
- IP20 degree of protection, 3.5W at Ie AC-3 power dissipation
- 24VDC supplied by the bus coupler (control circuit voltage)
- Dimension is 45 x 116 x 115mm (W x H x D)
- Ambient air temperature from -10 to 50°C without derating, 50 to 60°C with current derating
