Product Overview
The official M.2 HAT+ is a mechanical adaptor board that lets you connect M.2 peripherals to the Raspberry Pi 5, utilising the new PCI-Express interface for high speed data transfer and faster boot times. The board is autodetected by the latest Pi OS version and is ideal for use with NVMe SSD drives and AI accelerator boards.
- Conforms to the Raspberry Pi HAT+ specification and is autodetected by the latest software/firmware
- Single-lane PCI-Express 2.0 interface (500MB/s peak transfer rate)
- Compatible with M-key M.2 SSD drives
- Board supports 2230 or 2242 drive sizes
- Capable of supplying up to 3A to connected M.2 devices
- Onboard LED indicators for power & activity
- Supplied with stacking header and threaded spacers to maintain compatibility with the Raspberry Pi Active Cooler
