The OSLON P1616 Infrared series is designed to provide efficient high power infrared illumination for compact designs as it comes in an ultra-small package. The SFH 4171S have an integrated lens with a viewing angle of ±35° and are available as stack version, therefore being the perfect fit for applications requiring a high radiant power and a homogenous bright illumination area, such as 2D face Recognition for user authentication in laptops and smart door bells for example. This high power infrared emitter (850nm for high camera sensitivity) typically used in access control (IRIS/vein scan, face recognition), eye tracking, gesture recognition, safety, CCTV computing, user authentication and security.
- Clear silicone package, corrosion robustness class: 3B
- Nanostack technology for higher output (increased output by almost 100%)
- ESD: 2KV according to ANSI/ESDA/JEDEC JS-001 (HBM)
- IR light source with high efficiency, double stack emitter
- Ultra small package with only 1.60 x 1.60 x 1.71mm³ enabling use in space critical applications
- Centroid wavelength of 850nm
- 560 to 900mW/sr radiant intensity range (IF = 1A; tp = 10ms Ie)
- 680mW/sr radiant intensity (IF = 1A; tp = 10ms Ie)
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to 105°C
- Superior package size to performance ratio with 450mW /mm² (1150mW out of 1.6 x 1.6mm²)
