Product Overview
NCP51752 is an isolated single-channel gate driver with 4.5A/9A source and sink peak current respectively. It is designed for fast switching to drive power MOSFETs and SiC MOSFET power switches. The NCP51752 offers short and matched propagation delays. For improved reliability, dV/dt immunity and even faster turn-off, the NCP51752 has an innovative embedded negative bias rail mechanism. The NCP51752 offers other important protection function such as independent under-voltage lockout for both-side driver. Its Vcc UVLO threshold is referenced to GND2 for true UVLO regardless of VEE level. Applications include motor drives, isolated converters in DC-DC and AC-DC power supply, server, telecom, and industrial infrastructure.
- Built-in negative bias between GND2 and VEE pins selectable negative bias levels via trim
- 3V to 20V input supply voltage
- Negative 5V handling capability on input pins
- VDD quiescent current is 175µA typ at (VIN+= VIN- = 0V, VDD = 5V)
- 36ns typ turn-on propagation delay from IN to OUT
- 5ns max pulse width distortion
- 12ns turn-on rise time typ at (TJ = -40°C to +125°C)
- 3.75kVRMS isolation for 1 minute (per UL1577 requirements)
- Ambient temperature range from -40 to +125°C
- 8-pin SOIC package
