Product Overview

LV-222-555-442 is a 2-channel (multifunction) MIL-STD-1553, 16-channel ARINC 429 PXI avionics multiprotocol interface module. It provides channels that can simultaneously function as a bus controller (BC), up to 32 remote terminals (RTs), and monitor (MON) channel. It supports all MIL-STD-1553 message types. MIL-STD-1553 data buses can maintain a time-tagged history of bus activity in a sequential record file for storage and analysis. Advanced features include multiterminal simulation with concurrent monitoring, variable transmit amplitude, zero crossing distortion, IRIG time synchronization/generation, and protocol error injection for word, gap, and message errors. For ARINC 429, this offers on-board processors that automatically handle all protocol-related activity including transmit scheduling and receive buffering. It supports periodic and asynchronous messages and sequential monitoring and timestamping. Each ARINC 429 channel supports programmable bit rate frequency.
