MIKROE-6494 is a Nixie IN-12B add-on shield board that features a pre-installed IN-12B Nixie tube, designed for easy driving and control of numerical displays. This shield integrates high-voltage FETs for reliable and efficient numerical display management and features carefully designed connectors that ensure proper alignment and prevent incorrect connections. The included IN-12B tube is a popular choice for Nixie projects, offering a character height of 18mm, the ability to display digits 0 to 9 with a left-positioned decimal point and operation at a typical starting voltage of 150V with 3mA current per segment. Ideal for vintage clock designs and artistic numerical displays, this shield combines classic Nixie tube technology with modern control to create visually striking and nostalgic projects.
