WILCS02UE-I/100 is a Wi-Fi Link controller module with U.FL connector for external antenna. The WILCS02 is a fully RF and Wi-Fi Alliance®-certified wireless module based on the WILCS02IC. The device provides Secure Digital Input Output (SDIO) or Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) to interface with the host controller. The WILCS02IC is a single chip 2.4GHz and IEEE 802.11b/g/n-compliant solution with integrated High Power Amplifier (HPA), Low-Noise Amplifier (LNA) and Radio Frequency (RF) switches for TX/RX control. It is a Link Controller IC with a hardware-based security accelerator.
- Operating voltage VDD and VDDIO: 3.0-3.6V (3.3V typical)
- IEEE 802.11 b/g/n, singlestream (1x1) 20MHz bandwidth WLAN link compatible w/ Wi-Fi® 6/7 2.4GHz band
- Protected Management Frame (PMF) handled in H/W, WPA3 support
- Integrated PA, TX/RX switch and power management
- Internal flash memory (2MB) to store firmware
- Immutable secure boot with hardware root of trust, supports host-assisted firmware side-loading
- Hardware-based IEEE 802.15.2 compliant 3-Wire PTA interface for Wi-Fi/Bluetooth® coexistence
- SDIO or SPI (SDIO Based SPI; SDIO-SPI) host interface on a supported Linux host system
- Secure device firmware upgrade (DFU)
- Industrial temperature range from -40°C to 85°C
