HPMA115C0-004 is a HPM series, PM2.5 compact particulate matter sensor ideal for HVAC, automotive cabin air purifiers and air quality monitors. This is a laser-based sensor which detects and counts particles using light scattering. The detection concentration range is 0µg/m³ to 1,000µg/m³. A laser light source illuminates a particle as it is pulled through the detection chamber. As particles pass through the laser beam, the light reflects off the particles and is recorded on the photo or light detector. The light is then analysed and converted to an electrical signal to calculate particle concentration.
- Laser-based light scattering particle sensing technology
- Fully calibrated and accuracy for PM2.5 is ±15µg/m³ at 25°C ±5°C
- Response time is less than 6 seconds
- Supply voltage is 5V±0.2V at 25°C ±5°C and supply current is less than 80mA at 25°C ±5°C
- 20mV max ripple amplitude
- 1mV (noise bandwidth 10MHz) max R.M.S noise
- UART output, air inlet and air outlet on opposite sides
- Long life of 10 years offers a more stable operation for continuous usage
- Dimension is 44mm x 36mm x 12mm
- Operating temperature range from -20°C to 70°C
