The XB24CZ7SIT-004 from Digi International is a through hole mount, standard XBee® S2C ZigBee RF module with RPSMA connector for OEM. Embedded ZigBee module provides OEMs with a simple way to integrate mesh technology into their application. It is ideal for applications in the energy and controls markets where manufacturing efficiencies are critical. The Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) provides a high-speed interface and optimizes integration with embedded microcontrollers, lowering development costs and reducing time to market. Digi’s ZigBee compatible module is based on the Ember EM357 system on chip (SoC) radio ICs from SiliconLabs, utilizing 32bit ARM Cortex™ M3 processor. FCC, IC (North America), ETSI (Europe), RCM (Australia and New Zealand) regulatory approvals.
- RF 250Kbps, serial up to 1Mbps data rate
- Firmware upgrades via UART, SPI or over the air (OTA)
- Indoor/urban range up to 200ft (60m), outdoor/RF line of sight range up to 4000ft (1200m)
- Transmit power is 3.1mW (+5dBm) / 6.3mW (+8dBm) boost mode
- Receiver sensitivity is -100dBm / -102dBm boost mode
- ISM 2.4GHz frequency band, DSSS (direct sequence spread spectrum) interference immunity
- (4) 10bit ADC inputs, 15 digital I/O, 128bit AES encryption
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C, supply voltage from 2.1V to 3.6V
- Dimension is 0.960inch x 1.087inch (2.438cm x 2.761cm)
- Transmit and receive current is 33mA at 3.3VDC/45mA boost mode and 28mA at 3.3VDC/31mA boost mode
