CYPM1311-48LDXI is a Gen1 single port, high-efficiency power delivery microcontroller. It is targeted to devices, docks, and accessory applications. Its Cortex®-M0+ is a 32bit MCU that is optimized for low-power operation with extensive clock gating. The CPU sub-system also includes a 16-channel DMA/Datawire block and a serial wire debug (SWD) interface, which is a two-wire form of JTAG. The debug configuration used for PMG1-S3 has four break-point (address) comparators and two watch point (data) comparators. EZ-PD™ PMG1-S3 includes an integrated load switch controller with the following functions overvoltage and under voltage protection on VBUS, over current, short-circuit current and reverse current fault detection comparators for VBUS, VBUS discharge, and flexible gate drivers for VBUS NFETs. Potential application includes smart speakers, smart home appliances, VR/AR goggles, power tools, light electric vehicles.
- Type-C/PD blocks, up to two Type-C/PD blocks each with a baseband transceiver
- Integrated USB power-delivery (USB-PD) 3.1 support, supports 28V extended power range (EPR)
- Up to eight timer/counter pulse-width modulators (TCPWMs)
- Programmable GPIO pins, any GPIO pin can be CAPSENSE™, analog, or digital
- Integrated analog blocks, two 8-bit SAR ADCs, one 12-bit SAR ADC, two opamps
- Hardware crypto engine for secure FW boot and signed FW update
- USB full-speed device, charger detect block
- Two 8-bit ADC blocks, one 12-bit ADC block, two op-amps and two LP comparators
- 48-pin QFN package
- Industrial operating ambient temperature range from -40 to 85°C
