Product Overview
The ED-004 is an Ethernet to DIO Device with serial port. It features 4 digital input channels and 8 digital output channels. Powerful ARM 80MHz, 32-bit CPU. It offers robust and intelligent 'control side' that provides the interface to systems on the 24V factory floor environment, commonly referred to as 'process side'. The device installs as a COM port on the PC to give complete backwards compatibility essential for legacy applications. The device is compatible with Microsoft Windows, web browser, Microsoft Windows 8 32-bit and 64-bit editions, Windows server 2012, Raspberry Pi, Android, Windows server 2008 R2, Microsoft Windows 7 32-bit and 64-bit editions, iOS, Windows server 2008 32-bit and 64-bit editions, Windows Vista 32-bit and 64-bit editions, Mac OS X, Windows XP 32-bit and 64-bit editions, Microsoft Windows 2000 and Linux.

- DCON ASCII over TCP or Com port I/O protocols
- Triggered by user programmable +ve or -ve edges, stays true until acknowledged latch inputs
- User programmable - counts positive or negative transitions up to 100Hz
- Active high/low and pulsed high/low Watchdog
- Open drain transistor digital output
- Protected MOSFET digital output
- Short-circuit protection up to 36V
- 175°C Typical and 150°C minimum over-temperature shutdown
- ICMP, IP, TCP, DHCP and HTTP Network protocols
- 1500V Magnetic isolation between ports and network protection
