Product Overview
MAX22421BASA+ is a reinforced, ultra-low-power, two-channel digital isolator. This device transfers digital signals between circuits with different power domains, using as little as 90.7μW per channel at 1Mbps (1.8V supply). The ultra-low power feature reduces system dissipation, increases reliability, and enables compact designs. It features independent 1.71V to 5.5V supplies on each side also make the device suitable for use as level translators. It is used in applications such as 4-20mA loop process control, battery management, compact micro PLC, parasitically powered applications.

- Clock jitter RMS is 15.4ps typical at (500KHz clock input, rising/falling edges)
- Input leakage current is +1µA maximum at (VDDA - VGNDA = 1.71V to 5.5V)
- Input capacitance is 2pF typical at (fSW = 1MHz, VDDA - VGNDA = 1.71V to 5.5V)
- Glitch rejection is 70ns typical at (VDDA - VGNDA = 1.71V to 5.5V)
- Propagation delay is 51ns typical at (4.5V ≤ VDD- ≤ 5.5V)
- Pulse width distortion is 6ns maximum at (4.5V ≤ VDD- ≤ 5.5V)
- Refresh rate is 10KHz typical at (VDDA - VGNDA = 1.71V to 5.5V)
- 1/1 channel configuration, high default output
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to +125°C, 8-pin narrow SOIC package
