Product Overview

MAX14130FAEE+ is a 4-channel, 1kVRMS, digital isolator. It offers all three possible unidirectional channel configurations to accommodate any 4-channel design; including SPI, RS-232, RS-485, and digital I/O applications. Independent 1.71V to 5.5V supplies on each side of the isolator also make the device suitable for use as level translators. It is approved by UL according to UL1577, cUL according to CSA bulletin 5A, VDE 0884-11 basic insulation. It is used in applications such as fieldbus communications for industrial automation, isolated SPI, RS-232, RS-485/RS-422, general multichannel isolation applications, battery management, medical systems.
  • Withstands ±10kV Surge per IEC 61000-4-5
  • Operating supply voltage range from 1.71V to 5.5V
  • 4/0 channel configuration, 150Mbps data rate
  • Default low output, input leakage current is +1µA maximum at (TA = +25°C)
  • Input capacitance is 2pF typical at (INA-, INB-, f = 1MHz, TA = +25°C)
  • Minimum pulse width is 6.67ns maximum at (VDDA - VGNDA = +1.71V to +5.5V)
  • Propagation delay is 5.1ns typical at (4.5V ≤ VDDA, VDDB ≤ 5.5V)
  • Pulse-width distortion is 0.2ns typical at (4.5V ≤ VDDA, VDDB ≤ 5.5V)
  • Interfaces directly with most micros and FPGAs
  • Operating temperature range from -40°C to +125°C, 16-lead QSOP package
