Product Overview
LT1226 is a low noise, very high speed operational amplifier with excellent DC performance. It features low input offset voltage and high DC gain. The circuit is a single gain stage with outstanding settling characteristics. The fast settling time makes the circuit an ideal choice for data acquisition systems. The output is capable of driving a 500 ohm load to ±12V with ±15V supplies and a 150 ohm load to ±3V on ±5V supplies. The circuit is also capable of driving large capacitive loads which makes it useful in buffer or cable driver applications. Typical applications are wideband amplifiers, buffers, active filters, video and RF amplification, cable drivers, data acquisition systems.
- 100ns settling time to 0.1%, 10V step, drives all capacitive loads
- Input offset voltage is 0.3mV typ (VS=±15V, TA=25°C, VCM=0V)
- Input offset current is 100nA typ (VS=±15V, TA=25°C, VCM=0V)
- Input bias current is 4µA typ (VS=±15V, TA=25°C, VCM=0V)
- Common-mode rejection ratio is 103dB typ (VCM=±12V, VS=±15V, TA=25°C, VCM=0V)
- Slew rate is 400V/µs typ (VS=±15V, TA=25°C, VCM=0V)
- Full power bandwidth is 6.4MHz typ (10V peak, VS=±15V, TA=25°C, VCM=0V)
- Gain bandwidth is 1GHz typ (f=1MHz, VS=±15V, TA=25°C, VCM=0V)
- Supply current is 7mA typ (VS=±15V, TA=25°C, VCM=0V)
- 8-lead plastic SOIC package
