Product Overview

HMC998APM5ETR is a GaAs pHEMT MMIC distributed power amplifier that operates from DC to 22GHz. This amplifier provides +15dB of gain, +42dBm output IP3, and +32dBm of output power at 1dB gain compression while requiring only 500mA from a +15V supply. The HMC998APM5E exhibits a slightly positive gain slope from 3 to 17GHz making it ideal for military and space and test equipment applications. Applications include test instrumentation, military & space, fibre optics.
  • Gain is 15dB typical at (TA = +25°C)
  • Gain flatness is ±0.50dB typical at (TA = +25°C)
  • Input return loss is 15dB typical at (TA = +25°C)
  • Output return loss is 14dB typical at (TA = +25°C)
  • Output power for 1dB compression (P1dB) is 30dBm typical at (TA = +25°C)
  • Saturated output power (Psat) is 34dBm typical at (TA = +25°C)
  • Noise figure is 8dB typical at (TA = +25°C)
  • Supply current (Idd) is 500mA typical at (TA = +25°C)
  • Supply voltage (Vdd) is 15V typical at (TA = +25°C)
  • Operating temperature range from -40°C to 85°C, 32-lead LFCSP package
