Product Overview
HMC674LP3E is a silicon germanium (SiGe), monolithic, ultrafast comparator that feature reduced swing positive emitter-coupled logic (RSPECL) output drivers and latch inputs. Overdrive and slew rate dispersion is typically 10ps, making the ideal for a wide range of applications from ATE to broadband communications. This device can operate in either latch mode or as a tracking comparator. Application includes automatic test equipment (ATE) applications, high speed instrumentation, digital receiver systems, pulse spectroscopy, high speed trigger circuits, clock and data restoration.
- Equivalent input bandwidth is 9.3GHz (typ, TA = 25°C, VCCI = 3.3V)
- Propagation delay is 85ps (typ, VOD = 500mV, TA = 25°C)
- Overdrive and slew rate dispersion is 10ps (typ), input signal minimum pulse width is 60ps (typ)
- Resistor programmable hysteresis, differential latch control
- Power dissipation is 140mW (typ, TA = 25°C, VCCI = 3.3V, VCCO = 2.0V)
- Differential voltage range from -1.75 to +1.75V (TA = 25°C, VCCI = 3.3V, VCCO = 2.0V)
- Offset voltage (VOS) is ±5mV (typ, TA = 25°C, VCCI = 3.3V, VCCO = 2.0V)
- Impedance is 50 ohm (typ, TA = 25°C, VCCI = 3.3V, VCCO = 2.0V)
- Common-mode rejection ratio (CMRR) is 80dB (typ, TA = 25°C, VCCI = 3.3V, VCCO = 2.0V)
- 16 lead LFCSP package, operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C
