Product Overview
ADUM7241CRZ-RL7 is a 1kV, dual channel digital isolator based on the Analog Devices, Inc., iCoupler® technology. Combining high speed CMOS and monolithic air core transformer technologies, this isolation component provides outstanding performance characteristics superior to the alternatives, such as optocoupler device and other integrated coupler. It offers a cost-effective option compared to 2.5kV or 5kV isolator where only functional isolation is needed. Like other Analog Devices isolators, the ADuM7241 offer very low power consumption, consuming one-tenth to one-sixth the power of comparable isolators at data rate. Despite the low power consumption, the ADuM7241 provide low pulse width distortion (
- 1 number of inputs, VDD1 side, 1 number of inputs, VISO side
- 25Mbps maximum data rate, 50ns maximum propagation delay
- UL recognition - UL 1577: 1000V rms for 1 minute
- Bidirectional communication, 3V/5V level translation
- High temperature operation is 105°C
- High common-mode transient immunity:
15kV/μs - Pulse width is 40ns min (within PWD limit, TA = 25°C)
- Data rate is 25Mbps max (within PWD limit, TA = 25°C)
- Propagation delay is 50ns typ (50% input to 50% output, TA = 25°C)
- 8 lead SOIC-N package, temperature range from -40°C to +105°C
