Product Overview
ADUM342E1WBRWZ is a quad-channel digital isolator based on Analog Devices, Inc., iCoupler® technology. Combining high speed, complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS) and back-to-back monolithic air core transformer technology, this isolation components provide outstanding performance characteristics and meet CISPR 32/EN 55032 Class B limits at 5Mbps. This device operates with the supply voltage on either side ranging from 2.25V to 5.5V, providing compatibility with lower voltage systems as well as enabling voltage translation functionality across the isolation barrier. Application includes serial peripheral interface (SPI) data converter isolation, RS-485 and controller area network with flexible data rate (CAN FD) industrial field bus isolation, PWM controller signal isolation, general-purpose multichannel isolation.
- AEC-Q100 qualified for automotive applications
- 180KV/µs typical high common-mode transient immunity
- High robustness to radiated and conducted noise, low propagation delay
- 10ns maximum propagation delay (50% input to 50% output)
- Low dynamic power consumption is
1.65mA/ch at 1Mbps - 5700V rms for 1 minute per UL 1577 UL recognition
- DIN V VDE V 0884-11 (VDE V 0884-11):2017-01, VIORM = 1173Vpeak safety and regulatory approvals
- 10,000V peak reinforced surge isolation voltage
- 6.2ns typical propagation delay (50% input to 50% output, TA = 25°C)
- 16 lead SOIC wide package, operating temperature range from -40°C to +125°C
